history
he is Charlie's own horse and is dearly loved mostly as a companion. no one knows why he was gelded as his original breeders went out of business, despite the rare dun from his welsh pony parent, and sold him on when they could no longer take care of him.

personality
he's a very pleasant companion but that doesnt stop him being really .. weird. granted if he has a duty he will fulfill it at the max, but he's definitely more of the pet mentality than an actual performance animal, which may be why his breeders gave him up so easily, he just enjoys the outings and working - and given the chance he can look quite smart in in-hand shows. martin is loud, and its very easy for him to work himself into a tizzy, he has the amount of panic enough for three horses between his ears. that being said, if he's within his comfort zone, he's incredibly easy-going and fun.
